Some bling arrived today via the UBT (01/29/10).  The package consisted of a LOGISYS Thermal/ Clock Control Panel, a ZALMAN 6 Channel Fan Controller and just for the hell of it, a Sunbeam Blue LED assembly.

The main reason for these items was a desire to have a "dashboard" on the front panel.  I wanted something with an internal temperature display so I could have some idea of what was going on inside without having to switch programs, particularly in the middle of a benchmark test.  I guess I got a little carried away with it. :)

These little gems come with a dearth of installation instructions.  That means I'm gonna have to try to use my brain.  Right now, I don't think that's a very good idea.  I'm pretty darned tired and could use some rest.

Fatigue notwithstanding, I fought with the camera and lighting until I came up with a shot that I could use as a preview of the coming attractions...or detractions as the case (bad pun) may be.

A start on installing the blingy control panels.

Blinging in the dark...literally.
